History
Our roots go back to the 1970’s when the Dufort family acquired The Reinbold Company, a coffee roasting plant and created the brand REBO. Throughout the years, we evolved and expanded our range of products with the addition peanut butter, preserves and fruit jams produced and sold under our own-labeled brand.
Though we continued to grow and evolve throughout the years, it was in 1996 when our leaders had a broader vision for a local company that would not only produce local goods but also bring imported quality products to the local market. REBO thus became a public limited-liability company and attracted new investors most of whom have brought their skills to the expansion of our company.
Even though we became a food and beverage distributor giant, our activities are still centered on coffee which has been and shall always remain our signature.
Today, we work consciously to preserve the core values on which our company was founded almost fifty years ago, providing quality service to our clients and creating opportunities for our people.
Mission
We are committed to deliver success through a perfect blend of key resources, quality products, knowledge of the local market and competitive prices.
We are always looking for new items, brands and innovative ways to serve our customers, as we are dedicated to helping them grow their own businesses by providing them with unique products.
From retailers to supermarkets, hotels and restaurants, our name has come to signify quality, reliable performance, professionalism and value.
Vision
We are wholeheartedly dedicated to position our company as a key distributor when it comes to quality food, beverage, maintenance and personal care items.
As people are our most important asset; we are working toward becoming a sustainable company that invests in the community and the people that we collaborate with.
Social Responsibility
For over 40 years, REBO has been devoted to develop a substantial corporate ethics strategy by supporting education, children healthcare, agriculture and rural development programs in Haiti through local and international charitable organizations such as Fond de Parrainage National and Our little brothers and sisters.
In 2007, REBO made the leap and created its own foundation to reinforce its social implication and better support rural development through reforestation, education and the creation of infrastructure building. Learn more.
